Spring weather calls for spring fashion and this season, I’m crushing on blush pink. Blush is a soft version of baby pink. It’s the perfect blend of class and femininity. Blush can be dressed up with pearls or rocked out with studs and bangles, depending on the colors you choose to complement it with.
This week, I’m featuring an awesome blush skirt from Forever 21 and a sexy cut out crop top from TTYA’s collaboration with Long Tall Sally. Note: This skirt color is limited and may only be available in stores.
Cut it Out
Before we get to the skirt, I have to tell you about this amazing crop top. The textured cut out crop top has quickly become one of my new spring favorites. The polyester elastine blend is the perfect weight for chilly spring mornings or late nights. The top’s rippled texture provides even more dimension to the already fabulous design. I especially love the placement of the cut outs, which sit right below the shoulders. This peek a boo design accentuates the perfect amount of skin without going overboard. The top can be worn cropped (as intended) or pulled down and worn with a high waist bottom. Curvy girls—think you can’t rock a crop top? Think again. Blush on You
This is the first skirt I’ve purchased from Forever 21’s plus size line. Initially, I was conc
erned about how it would fit my non-21 year old body. Surprisingly, this blush skirt is still knee length on my 6’1” frame, which is a major plus. The slight sheen and crinoline underpinning really pump up the style on this skirt. It’s the PERFECT finishing touch for any wedding or brunch look. The color just takes it over the top. C’mon—who can resist blush?!?
